The Chacarita cemetery is apparently the largest in South America. We are quite sure that is no exaggeration! We almost got lost trying to find our way out. Having been unable to find the tombs of Juan Peron (husband of Evita but buried in a different place) and Jorge Newbury (aviator extraordinaire) we were happy to see Carlos Gardel“s final resting place. His is the Godfather of Argentine Tango.
Also strange goings on at Puerto Medero. A herd of strangely decorated cows have arrived!

Carlos Gardel“s tomb was adorned with flowers and notes

Not sure who this jolly chap was!

Almost lifelike - scary!

Busking cows, whatever next?...

...climbing cows!!
